Refund Policy
Last updated October 15, 2026
Premium keys are sold by authorized resellers, not by Lumen directly. The reseller you bought from takes your payment, so refunds are handled by that reseller under their own policy. This page explains how that works and what Lumen does on its side.
Buy only from authorized resellers
The current list of authorized resellers is kept in the Lumen Discord. Keys bought anywhere else may be stolen, shared or already used, and can be revoked at any time. Lumen cannot help with, replace or refund keys from unauthorized sellers.
Try it first
Free trial keys are available in the Lumen Discord. Use a trial to check that Lumen runs on your PC and with your version of Minecraft before buying.
Asking for a refund
Contact the reseller you bought from, with your order details. Lumen never received your payment, so we cannot send money back ourselves.
Premium keys are digital licenses that start working the moment they are redeemed, so most resellers treat sales as final. When a reseller asks us, we can confirm whether a key has been redeemed and how much it has been used.
When Lumen supports a refund
We will confirm to the reseller that a refund is justified when:
- the key has not been redeemed; or
- Lumen does not work on your PC at all, our staff could not fix it, and you have not used it to play since the problem was reported; or
- the key never worked because of a problem on our side.
When Lumen does not support a refund
- After a key has been used for normal play.
- Because your Minecraft, Xbox or server account was banned or punished. As the Terms of Service explain, we are not responsible for action a game, platform or server takes against you.
- Because a feature stopped working after a Minecraft update, or a server blocks it.
- When a key was revoked for breaking the Terms of Service, such as sharing, reselling without authorization or tampering with Lumen.
Refunded keys
Once a purchase is refunded, the key involved is revoked and stops working.
Chargebacks
Please contact the reseller before disputing a charge with your bank or payment provider. A chargeback revokes the key involved and may ban the PC and Discord account from the Service.
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
